Lights of Asheville E-Mailing List I have started this list to share with the Asheville community events that local Lightworkers are putting on each week in the area that really focus on helping others increase their Light. Obviously this is a broad definition and I trust you already understand what I mean. It is like the Cosmic Buffet in the Express, but much more focused. I want to make this free for advertisers and to spend as little of my time as possible on it to get it out each week. I plan to send out on Wednesdays and to include 12 days of events each week from Wednesday to the following Sunday (this will include 2 weekends). I will also include a special listing at the bottom for weekend events that may be coming up within the next few months that require pre-registration. With that, here is my offer to those of you who would like to participate by posting your events. Please pass on to others who have events to share as well. The idea is to build up the mailing list, so that many people get to know about these events each week. Your energy exchange for this is to offer us some email addresses to add to our list. Also, to continue to add to this list as you get new names and to spread the word around town about this service. You can either just give us your list of names or you can ask your list if they want to Opt-In to this one first, either way is probably fine. When they are added to our list, we send them an option to Opt-In or Out. They will always have the opportunity to UNSUBSCRIBE at anytime they don't want to get the emails. This list will only be used for this purpose and will not be available for personal use other than this list. It will never be sold to a mailing list company. The listings are for private individuals (local to Asheville area) only and will not promote out of town events or big name events coming to town - this list is to help the many lightworkers in Asheville with their promotion/marketing efforts. It is also only for events and not for advertising your services - you can promote yourself in your listing however with links to your site info. Please word your events to reflect this. Listings will also be screened for pertinence to this list. Meaning they may be rejected if not in alignment with the overall purpose, so if you are starting a knitting group, be sure to include that during the knitting you will be discussing how to save the planet. ;-) Events can be held anywhere in the Asheville and surrounding areas, as well as online or teleconference (by someone who lives in the Asheville area). The listings have a specific format and will only be text based, so no images or HTML coding will be used. No special bolding or boxing will be added. Basically I am just going to cut and paste this info, so make sure it is exactly the way you want it to appear and that I don't have to fix it or proofread it. I will send it back to you to fix if it doesn't fit within this format. If you have repeat events, I will ask that you send in your listing each time so that I don't have to manage that for you. The deadline each week is Tuesday night at midnight for the following weeks listings. Let me know if you have questions, but remember I want this to be simple for me. This is one of my grounded efforts to help the Light continue to grow, expand and ground into our beautiful community. Share this with others who you feel would have interest.
